Balfour Beatty Rail has been awarded a £1m contract for the provision of welding resources to the Track Partnership project.
Working on the London Underground Infrastructure the scope of works includes Alumino-Thermic Welding, Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Welding and Visual/Ultrasonic Weld Inspections.
The contract award comes just 6 months after Balfour Beatty were awarded a track renewals contract for 5 years and highlights the ‘success of the partnership.’
It is a 12 month contract and this is the 9th consecutive year that the contract has been awarded to Balfour Beatty Rail.
