Amey has appointed John Faulkner as Business Development Director to drive further growth in its rail and highways division.
Faulkner, who joins from the Department of Transport, will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, implementing strategy and focussing on customer relationships.
A chartered civil engineer, Faulkner has 18 years’ experience working for strategic transport providers, most recently as Head of Strategy at the Department for Transport.
He said: “It’s an exciting time to be moving to the private sector as we enter a new phase of public sector delivery. I look forward to evolving Amey’s highways and rail offering, sharing my experience and helping develop the business even further.”
